TDP blames Chidambaram, Moily for Andhra Pradesh division move

Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh, Jan 10: Telugu Desam Party(TDP) Polit Buro member Yanamala Ramakrishnudu today blamed Union Ministers P Chidambaram and M Veerappa Moily for allegedly joining hands with ''divisive forces'' in Andhra Pradesh with the ''ulterior motive of reverting the State's progress''.Addressing a press conference here, he said the TDP had every reason to believe both the Union leaders were working against the State's interests.

They had succeeded in their attempt by flaring up regional feelings that rocked the State with large scale violence and disturbances.

Mr Ramakrishnudu said the Congress, instead of setting its own house in order, was putting the blame on others. ` The Congress alone should be held responsible for the present state of affairs-whether for the turmoil in the wake of the Centre's December nine statement or disturbances in the wake of telecast of news stories in connection with the death of Former Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy on January eight.

Pradesh Congress Chief D Srinivas, serving a showcause notice on Former National Students Union of India President Vamsidhar Reddy itself spoke volumes about the people behind the present disturbances and attacks on Reliance outlets.

A CBI probe should be ordered to find out who were behind the SMS message and who had instigated attacks.
